It's only Tuesday and we usually like to take it a bit slow the first couple of days of camp to give the kids a chance to acclimate themselves to the boat. However, while deep-sea fishing and whale watching we hooked up to a bluedog shark. 14 year-old Ethan Lynch was strapped into a harness and handed the rod. After 30 minutes, Ethan landed the 12-foot long shark - a record for the Erica Lee II. The pictures below tell part of the story. Ethan will tell the rest in the September issue of Coastal Angler Magazine.
